'Quiz Competition' organized on the occasion of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' at RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala

 

'Quiz Competition' organized on the occasion of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' at RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala, and under the guidance of Mrs. Mandeep Kaur (Department of History), a quiz competition commemorating to the '75th anniversary of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahautsav' was conducted in the school campus.

During the quiz competition, a questionnaire was conducted on the topic 'Life and Teachings of Mahatma Gandhi', in which many students participated enthusiastically, out of which 10 students were shortlisted. For the oral quiz competition, the students were divided into 5 teams and three quiz rounds were conducted. 

In this competition (Kumari Himanshi +1 Arts, Kumari Jasmine +2 Arts) stood first from Team-B, (Kumari Harman +2 Arts, Kumari Manjot +2 Commerce) stood second from Team-D and (Kumari Kiranjit +2 Arts, Kumari Iqbalpreet Kaur +2 Medical) from Team-C got third positions respectively.

Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated the winning students and encouraged them to be a part of such competitions in future as well. The winners were honoured and appreciated with certificates and medals. On this occasion Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, Ms. Ranjit Kaur, Ms. Neha, Ms. Kajal, Ms. Ravneet and Mrs. Meenakshi Verma were also present.
