Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala, a 'Summer Camp - 2022' was organized in the college campus. The aim of this camp was to offer an opportunity to the young ladies to have the most memorable experiences by doing something new and exciting while learning various new skills like 'Make-up & Hair Styling', 'Spoken English', 'Cooking & Catering', 'Baking', 'Embroidery Knitting and Painting'. In today's pressure oriented society, these skill oriented camps provide a non-threatening environment for the youth to be active by developing competence in life skills and enhancing their own abilities by the meaningful participation in the fun time activities designed just for them. This summer camp highlighted the impact of skill development on 'Women Empowerment' and the students participated in this camp enthusiastically.
