A Fresher's Party 'Ankur' was organized for SSC-I students at RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Sen. Sec. School, Batala, under the able guidance of Principal, Dr. Ekta Khosla. The coordinator of the function was Mrs. Ekta Bhandari. Ms. Ranjit Kaur supervised the organization and preparations of the party. It was a delightful afternoon of jazzy music and enlightening decor filled with special performances of students.
The function began with lighting of the lamp by Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla and teachers. Mrs. Ekta Bhandari & Collegiate Head Girls Ms. Chahatpreet Kaur extended a green welcome to Madam Principal. All students of SSC-I and SSC-II enthusiastically participated in different events. After arduous modeling rounds Km. Harleen was chosen Miss Fresher, Km. Khushi became 1st Runner-up and Km. Kashvi became 2nd Runner-up. Km. Sharan bagged the title Miss Ravishing, Km. Mehakpreet Kaur bagged the title Miss Catwalk and Km. Sukhmeen bagged the title Miss Confident. The judges of the modeling were Dr. Indra Rani, Mrs. Supriya Duggal and Ms. Udesh Kumari. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla extended her felicitations to the whole team for the successful completion of the party.
