'Independence Day Celebrations' by NCC Department at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of Mrs. Simranjit Kaur (Caretaker NCC Department), in collaboration with Rotary Club, Batala and State Bank of India, 'Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra' was organized as a part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate the 75th year of India's Independence. 

During the Independence Day Celebrations, a 'Tiranga Yatra' was organized to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it gracefully to mark this special occasion of Independence. The idea behind this initiative was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and to promote awareness about the nation-building by visiting the neighborhood localities of their areas.  Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla, enlightened the volunteers to make 'Har Ghar Tiranga' as our motto so that the tri-colour is hoisted to connect with the masses and infuse a sense of patriotism and nationalism round the year.
