 International Seminar on 'Career Opportunity for Students of Chemistry in USA and Canada' organized in RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and the able guidance of Mrs. Ekta Bhandari (HOD, Chemistry), an International Seminar on 'Career Opportunity for Students of Chemistry in USA and Canada' was organized in College Campus. Dr. Mandeep Singh Bakshi graced the occasion as Resource Person. Dr. Bakshi is Associate Professor in the Department of National and Applied Sciences, University of Wisconsin, Green Bay USA.  He has published more than 150 research publications in various journals of international repute in fields of colloids and Bio-nanomaterials. Principal, Dr. Ekta Khosla extended a green welcome to Dr. Bakshi. Dr. Bakshi discussed about the Education System in USA and Canada. He also told about the difference between the university education in USA and Canada. He provided the detailed information on how students the detailed information on how students can move to USA and Canada. 

He also discussed about the jobs prospects in USA and Canada after completing university education. Dr. Bakshi also outlined Career Opportunities for students of Chemistry in USA and Canada. Students from Govt. Polytechnic College, Batala also attended this informative session along with the college students. The students also put forth their queries related to education and job prospects in USA and Canada. Dr. Jasbir Singh, Chemical Engineering Department, Government Polytechnic College thanked Dr. Bakshi, Resource Person of the seminar for such an enlightening session. Madam Principal extended her felicitations to the organizers for such an informative and enlightening session.
