 Hostel Fresher's Night 'Sparkle' organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of Ms. Udesh Kumari (Incharge Hostel) and Ms. Ruchika Verma (Hostel Warden), Hostel Fresher's Night 'Sparkle' was organized in the college campus. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla graced the occasion as the chief guest and Dr. Meenakshi Duggal (Dean Academic) was also invited on this occasion as the special guest. The students formally welcomed the Hon'ble guests by giving them a bouquet.

The ceremony started with the jyoti prajwalan and DAV anthem. While addressing the students, at this juncture, Madam Principal encouraged them to adopt the qualities like honesty and good conduct along with studies so that they can make their distinct identity in every sphere of life. On this occasion, the seniors welcomed the new students in a friendly atmosphere to encourage their creative impulses while boosting their confidence. The students presented various activities like Modelling Rounds, Group Dance, Bollywood and Western Choreography, Dogri Dance and speech on hostel life. Kumari Vidyanti Slatiya, Kumari Neetu, Kumari Khushleen and Kumari Prabhjit won the title of Miss Fresher, Miss Elegant, Miss Charming and Miss Cat-Walk respectively.

On this occasion, Ms. Udesh Kumari (Incharge Hostel) also addressed the students and assured the gathering that the students will work hard and live up to the higher expectations of their teachers and Ms. Ruchika Verma provided the vote of thanks. At this juncture, Dr. Poonam Rani, Mrs. Naiya Mahajan, Mrs. Damini and Mrs. Sunaina Gupta joined the event as judges. Mrs. Kulwinder Kaur, Mrs. Rupali Aggarwal, Mrs. Neha, Ms. Taranjit Kaur and Ms. Rajwant Kaur were also present on this occasion.
