'Yuva Sanchetna Diwas' celebrated at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala.
Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of the program convener Dr. Lucky Sharma (Dean Student Welfare), Mrs. Baljit Kaur (Dean Discipline) and Ms. Udesh Kumari (Incharge Student Council), 'Yuva Sanchetna Diwas' was organized in the college campus. The ceremony started with DAV Gaan and thereafter the 'Jyoti-Prajwalan' ceremony was conducted.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated the members of newly appointed 'Student Council' and 'Discipline Committee' and added that being the part of the college administration they are required to fulfil their responsibilities with punctuality and discipline. Following the procedures, P.G. Head Girl Kumari Kiran, Joint Head Girl Kumari Chahat, Assistant Head Girl Kumari Prabhjot Kaur and U.G. Head Girl Kumari Rashmeet were duly honoured. The selected students were given badges by the principal.
While addressing the students, Dr. Lucky Sharma and Mrs. Baljit Kaur made them aware of their rights and duties and motivated them to fulfil their responsibilities with full engrossment and discipline. On this occasion, the selected students took an oath to fulfil their responsibilities with full devotion. The program ended with national anthem.
