 'Best Out of Waste' competition organized under 'Skill Expression Week — Entropy' at RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala and under the able guidance of Mrs. Ekta Bhandari (School Incharge and Program Coordinator), 'Best Out of Waste' competition was organized in the school campus on the third day of 'Skill Expression Week'. Mrs. Damini Mahajan was the Incharge of this event. This event was conducted to raise awareness on recycling waste material.

The students from SSC-I and SSC-II displayed some innovative best out of waste ideas and prepared a variety of homemade decorative items such as lamps, photo frames, wall hangings, flower walls, pen holders, swings, newspaper bags, jewelery boxes etc. from waste material like newspaper, glass, plastic bottles etc. Kiranjeet Kaur and Kriti (+2 Arts) was declared the winner with Prabhjeet (+1 Commerce) and Puneet (+1 Medical) and Damini (+1 Commerce) and Himanshi (+1 Arts) securing second & third place respectively while Gurmanpreet (+2 Arts) and Shaina Bawa (+2 Commerce) were got the consolation prize. The judgement was done by Mrs. Simmi Sharma. 

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated the prize winners and acknowledged the creativity and innovative skills of all the participants. She extended her felicitations to the whole team for the successful conduct of the event.
