 'Mathematical Events' organized at RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala on the occasion of the birth anniversary of 'Srinivasa Ramanujan'

Under the aegis of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala and under the able guidance of Mrs. Simmi Sharma (Head, Department of Mathematics) and Ms. Kajal, 'Mathematical Events' were organized in the school campus on the occasion of birth anniversary Srinivasa Ramanujan's.

Different activities were conducted on this occasion like 'Find an Example' 'Maths Puzzle' and 'Poster Making on Life and work of Srinivasa Ramanujan'. The students from SSC-I and SSC-II participated vehemently in all the activities. Ekjot Kaur and Jaspreet Kaur Ahluwalia bagged first and second prize in 'Fine an Example'. Anjum Sharma and Pawanpreet Kaur bagged first position and Sophia and Mehak bagged second position in 'Maths Puzzle'. Kiranjit Kaur secured first position, Ekjot Kaur secured second position and Anjali bagged third position in 'Poster Making' competition. The judgement was done by Mrs. Simmi Sharma and Mrs. Gurinder Kaur.

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated the prize winners and encouraged them to participate in such competitions in future as well. She extended her felicitations to the Maths Department for the successful conduct of the event.
