Session on 'Balance Sheet of Life' organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala
Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal (IQAC Coordinator) and Dr. Lucky Sharma (FDP Convener), in ongoing 'Ten-day Faculty Development Programme' (from 23rd November to 3rd December, 2022) on 'Preparedness of NEP-2020' a session on 'Balance Sheet of Life' was organized in the college campus.
On the fifth day of the FDP, Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Former Head of the Department Commerce and IQAC Coordinator, Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jalanadhar was the Keynote Speaker. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla formally welcomed the resource person with a green planter. Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, shared her views on the topic 'Balance Sheet of Life' with a powerful presentation and skilfully compared the balance sheet of commerce with the balance sheet of action-reactions of life transactions. She vividly explained various concepts of longability, concept of accrual transaction, give and take concept, expectations and reciprocations while correlating them with the assets like liabilities, good health, bank balance and good relationships and further advised to invest in knowledge, quest for learning, managerial skills and leadership skills, to increase one's net worth and attract the abundance of good.
Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla, appreciated the pedagogies discussed by the Resource Person and added that anyone can be one's best version by having good personality traits and can detoxify the blemishes of body and brain by working on these life skills. On this occasion, Dr. Poonam Rani conducted the stage smoothly. At last, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal extended her felicitations on the behalf of Principal and entire teaching fraternity for providing this wonderful learning opportunity in this session.
