RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala observed 'National Girl Child Day'
Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of Dr. Lucky Sharma (Dean Student Welfare), Mrs. Gurinder Kaur and Dr. Poonam Rani, 'National Girl Child Day', initiated by 'Ministry of Women and Child Development', was observed by visiting the Kindergarten School and distributing eatables to the girls. The girl students enjoyed various activities like poem recitation, singing, dancing and various fun games on this occasion. The main objective of this drive was to promote awareness about the rights of 'Girl Child' and to promote the importance of their education, health and nutrition. The college students were also present on this occasion.
