 Materializing 'Dream of Women Entrepreneurship' through 'Earn While You Learn' scheme at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Mrs. Harpreet Aneja (Head, Department of Fashion Designing), 21 students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Fashion Designing) materialized the 'Dream of Women Entrepreneurship and skill enhancement through 'Earn While You Learn' scheme, earned the honorarium through cheques for preparing sashes for the college Convocation 2022. Providing information regarding this Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla added that this scheme enables students in 18-25 age group to earn honorariums through part-time employment without affecting their academic pursuits while enhancing their self-confidence. The teachers of Fashion Designing Department Mrs. Naiya Mahajan, Mrs. Amarjot Kaur, Ms. Amreen Kaur, Ms. Suman Manikpuri and Ms. Neha supervised the students in this task. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla praised the students for their performance and encouraged them to be self-dependent even while they are studying. She emphasized that 'Earn While You Learn' scheme is much needed in today's scenario to inculcate knowledge and experience among the trainees to enable them for working as 'Student Volunteers'.
