 'Naari Kavi Darbar' organized under 'International Women Day' at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and as per the instructions of UN Women Day 2023 'DigitAll: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality', a Naari Kavi Darbar was organized in the college campus. Principal Sumaira (Poet of international fame) and Ms. Mridula Kawatra (Advocate Mumbai High Court) graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Special Guest. In addition, Dr. Jasmine, Principal Shalini Dutta, Mrs. Raj Sharma, Dr. Satinder Buttar, Surinder Kamal and Adarsh Bhullar also participated in this poet's court. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla formally welcomed the chief guest and the special guest by giving them green planter and honoured them by giving them the badge of honour of the college.

Sharing her views, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla emphasized that incorporating digital women's empowerment, in today's era has motivated women to become digitally empowered along with education.

The eminent personalities present on this occasion vented out their emotions and feelings through their poetry. They also motivated the students to empower themselves using poetry. Arts Skills Competitions were organized under the guidelines of Y-20 Summit. Advocate Mridula Kawatra motivated everyone present there to recognize their inherent ability and to use their poetry to discover who they are. On this occasion, prizes were given to the winners of the essay writing competition organized by the Punjabi department.
