 Orientation session ‘Institution’s Innovation Council Objectives, Structure and Operation’

Under aegis of Dr. Mrs. Ekta Khosla, Principal RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma (IIC Co-ordinator ) an online orientation session on ‘Institution’s Innovation Council Objectives, Structure and Operation’ was attended in the college campus on 5th August, 2024. During the Seminar, the resource person was Mr. Dipan Kumar Sahu (Assistant Innovation Director MOE’s Innovation Cell).

In the session, the council’s objectives were clearly outlined to support and incentivize innovation, facilitate collaboration between institutions and industry to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit among students and faculty. The structure of the IIC was discussed in detail, highlighting its multi –tiered approach. The council is organized into various committees, each responsible for specific functions such as policy formulation, project evaluation and engagement of stakeholders. The session emphasized the council’s commitment to transparent and efficient operations, including the implementation of regular review mechanism and feedback loops to continuously refine and improve its processes. During this online session, Mrs. Harpreet Aneja, Mrs. Kirandeep, Mrs. Ranjeet Kaur, Ms. Kawaljeet Kaur, Mrs. Simranjit Kaur, Ms. Mehak were Present.
