 ‘Teej Celebrations’ organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

 Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of Dr. Indra Rani (Dean Youth Welfare Department) ‘Teej Festival’ was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the college premises. On this occasion, the students presented Punjabi culture through Folk-songs, Folk dance, Giddha and many other cultural items. In this event Dr. Indira Rani, Mrs. Baljeet Kaur and Mrs. Harpreet Aneja were in the panel of judges and Kumari Prabhjot Kaur was selected as Miss Teej. At this juncture, all the gathering also enjoyed ‘Peengh da Hulara’ with joy and excitement. 

While sharing her views on this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla stated that these festivities provide a platform to the young generation for connecting with their heritage and Virsa. On this occasion, all the faculty and staff members were also present.
