 ‘Tiranga Rally’ organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala to commemorate the ‘78th Independence Day’

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, principal RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the aeigs of NSS, NCC and IIC of the institution, a ‘Tiranga Rally’ was organized in the vicinity of the college to mark Indian’s 78th year of Independence. The celebrations showcased a strong spirit of unity, patriotism and the participants took an oath of avoiding drugs and spread awareness on the growing menace of drug addiction among youngsters. 

At this juncture, principal Dr. Ekta Khosla, enlightened the gathering to make 'Har Ghar Tiranga' as our motto so that this initiative may connect with the masses and infuse a sense of patriotism and nationalism in their hearts round the year. On this occasion, Mr. Harish Kumar (Vice President of IIC), Mr. Pankaj Kumar (Co-ordinator NSS), Mrs. Simranjit Kaur (Caretaker NCC), Ms. Suman Mainkpuri and Ms. Aanchal were also present.
