 ‘Havan Yajna’ organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Anand Swami ji at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala.

Under the able leadership of Arya Ratan Dr. Punam Suri ji (President Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha and DAV Managing Committee New Delhi) and Under the aegis of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha, Punjab the birth anniversary of Mahatma Anand Swami Ji, a great visionary and reformer of his times Havan Yajna was organized. On this pious occasion, Sh. Rajesh Kawatra, Sh. Ashwani Marwaha and Sh. Vinod Sachdeva joined as special guests.

On this occasion, Vedic Mantras were recited by Mr. Sunil Dutt. At this juncture, the students of the music department presented melodious hymns. Paying her tribute to the astound philosopher and visionary, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla stated that Mahatma Anand Swami ji spent his entire life in promoting and propagating the vision of Arya Samaj and ceaselessly worked to bring reformation and regeneration in the society. On this occasion, the Chairman of Local Advisory Committee, Mr. Rajesh Kawatra also shared his thoughts about Swami ji and discussed his immense contribution to Arya Samaj and Society. At this Juncture, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Dr. Lucky Sharma, Mrs. Deepti Kanda, Mrs. Simmi Sharma, Dr. Indra Rani, Mr. Bachan Lal and other faculty and staff members were also present.
