Hostel Fresher Party 'Aagaz' organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala. Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of Ms. Udesh Kumari (Incharge Hostel) and Ms. Ruchika Verma (Hostel Warden), Hostel Fresher Night 'Aagaz' was organized in the college campus. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla graced the occasion as the chief guest while Sh. Gurmukh Singh and Anjalita were among the special invites. The ceremony started with the jyoti prajwalan and DAV anthem. While addressing the students at this juncture, Madam Principal encouraged them to foster a sense of community and encourage the creativity by boosting their confidence for starting a new chapter in their lives. On this occasion, the seniors welcomed the new students in a friendly atmosphere to encourage their creative impulses while boosting their confidence. The students presented various activities like Modelling Rounds, Group Dance, Bollywood and Western Choreography, Dogri Dance, Poetry along with distinctive speechs on hostel life. Ms. Jahnavi, Ms. Harshita, Ms. Suneha and Ms. Vaishali won the title of Miss Fresher, Miss Elegant, Miss Cat-Walk and Miss Charming respectively. On this occasion, Ms. Udesh Kumari (Incharge Hostel) also addressed the students and assured the gathering that the students will work hard and live up to the higher expectations of their teachers. Ms. Ruchika Verma provided the formal vote of thanks. At this juncture, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Dr. Ritu Goswami and Mrs. Damanpreet Kaur joined the event as judges.
