 'Poshan Jaago' organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and with the support of Mrs. Sunaina Gupta (Department of Home Science), an outreach program 'Poshan Jaggo' was organized in collaboration with Inner Wheel Club, Batala under the aegis of IIC and Yuva Connect in the college premises. The students, with the decorated baskets of fresh fruits and vegetables, instead of the earthen pots on their heads, enjoyed, dancing and celebrating with delight and enthusiasm. They sang the slogan 'Sahi Poshan Desh Roshan'. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla encouraged the coordinators and students for organizing such an awakening event with an aim to eradicate the problems like malnutrition and anaemia among the masses. Madam Principal acknowledged the importance of these awareness drives on nutritious food to achieve improvement in key nutrition parameters especially for children and women both. On this occasion, all the faculty, staff members and students were also present.
