Skill Entrepreneurship Week inaugurated at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala
Under the supervision of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Mrs. Harpreet Aneja (Head, PG Department of Fashion Designing), Skill Entrepreneurship Week was inaugurated with full zeal and enthusiasm an aim to nurture creativity and entrepreneurial abilities among budding designers.
On the first day, around 110 students participated in a workshop on the art of knotting, where they learned the skill of creating innovative products like bags, jewellery, wall hangings, and home décor articles. The session was conducted by resource persons Ms. Neha and Ms. Baljinder, who guided students with practical demonstrations. The Head of Department Harpreet Aneja along with faculty members Mrs. Naiya Mahajan, Ms. Amreen Kaur, Ms. Komal, Ms. Neha, Ms. Baljinder, Ms. Sonia and Ms. Kamalpreet encouraged the students to explore knotting as a means of design innovation and self-employment.
On this juncture, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla appreciated the sincere efforts of the department for organizing the event and motivated the students to channelize their creativity into entrepreneurial ventures.
