 ‘Annual Awards Day Celebrated’ at RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Sr. Sen. School, Batala

RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Sr. Sen. School, Batala organized ‘Annual Awards Day Ceremony’ in the College auditorium under the aegis of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal and under the able guidance of Mrs. Ekta Bhandari (Coordinator) and Ms. Ranjit Kaur (Convener) Sh. Rajesh Kawatra (Chairmen, Local Advisory Committee) along with Mrs. Anu Kawatra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The whole auditorium was bedecked by the prize winners in academics and extra-curricular activities and specially graced by the dignitaries and LAC Members. The ceremony started with ‘Jyoti Parjwalan’ which made the hall full of immaculacy and serenity fit for the occasion. Dr. (Mrs.) Meenakshi Duggal, the officiating Principal of the college, formally welcomed the guests. The chief guest, Sh. Rajesh Kawatra also showered his blessings and motivated the students to focus on academics along with the co-curricular activities.

In SSC-I, Commerce Stream, Ms. Mehak Mehta, Ms. Neha Sharma and Ms. Meenakshi Devi bagged first, second and third positions respectively. In Medical Stream, Ms. Kirandeep Kaur, Ms. Jashanpreet Kaur and  Ms. Jasleen Kaur  bagged first, second and third positions respectively. In Non- Medical Stream, Ms. Maanya and Ms. Navjot Kaur bagged first and second positions respectively. In Arts Stream, Ms. Mehakdeep Kaur, Ms. Komalpreet Kaur and Ms. Gurreet Kaur bagged first, second and third  positions respectively. 

In SSC-II, Commerce Stream, Ms. Komal bagged first position and Ms. Kashish Khosla bagged second position while Ms. Aarushi bagged third position respectively. In Medical Stream, Ms. Parmeet Kaur bagged first position and Ms. Japjinoor Kaur and Pawanpreet Kaur got second position jointly while  Ms. Sukhpreet Kaur bagged third position. In Non- Medical Stream, Ms. Simran got first position. In Arts Stream, Ms. Tanvi bagged first position and Ms. Ritika Gupta bagged second position while Ms. Davinderpreet Kaur bagged third position respectively. Head Girl Ms. Maanya (SSC-II Non-Medical) and Joint Head Girl Ms. Roshni (SSC-I Arts) were also honoured. 

At this juncture, all the school faculty and staff members were also present. The ceremony ended with the National Anthem.
