‘Creativity meets Mathematics’ at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala
RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala organized Inter School Mathematical Rangoli and Model Making Competition to mark the ‘National Mathematics Day’ under the patronage of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, officiating Principal and under the able guidance of Mrs. Simmi Sharma (Head, PG Department of Mathematics), to commemorate the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan (Great Mathematician) under the aegis of Aryabhatt Mathematics Society.
On this occasion, the students from various institutions participated vehemently in these events. Mrs. Simmi Sharma, Dr. Ritu Goswami and Mr. Anil Gupta acted as judges in these competitions. Ms. Navneet and Ms. Jasmeet from Laurens International School, Batala got first and second positions respectively and Ms. Harsimrat from Jiya Lal Mittal DAV Public School, Gurdaspur bagged third position. Principal Dr. Meenakshi Duggal congratulated the participants and appreciated their efforts. On this occasion, all the faculty and staff members were also present.
