 Synergy 2025’ – Inter School Competition organized at RR Bawa DAV College, Batala

RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala successfully hosted “Synergy 2025” a vibrant inter-school competition that brought together students from numerous schools to showcase their talents  in various co-curricular activities including arts and culture fostering skills, team work and knowledge, under the aegis of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal and under the able guidance of Dr. Lucky Sharma (Programme Coordinator) and Mrs. Ekta Bhandari (Programme Convener). 

Shri Rajesh Kawatra (Chairman, Local Advisory Committee), along with Smt. Anu Kawatra, graced the occasion as the Chief guest while Smt. Meena Chande, Sh. Subhash Goyal, Sh. Bharat Bhushan Aggarwal, Sh. K.L. Gupta, Sh. Mahesh Aggarwal along with esteemed principals and teacher incharges of various reputed Schools were among the special invitees. 

A large number of students from various reputed schools. i.e. F C Verma Adarsh Sen. Sec. School, Batala, Dr. Daulat Ram Bhalla DAV Centenary Public School, Batala, Dayanand Anglo Vedic School, Qadian, Sikh National Collegiate Sen. Sec. School, Qadian, Laurens International School, Batala, PM Shri GSSS Aliwal, Dr. MRS Bhalla DAV Girls High School, Qila Mandi, Batala, Ved Kaur Arya Girls Sen. Sec. School, Qadian, RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Sr. Sec. School, Batala, Jiya Lal Mittal DAV Public School, Gurdaspur, Govt. Girls Sen. Sec. School, Dharampura, Batala and BND Govt. Girls Sen. Sec. School, Ghuman participated in the competition, which featured a diverse range of activities including Declamation, Poetical Recitation, Geet Gayan, Painting/Sketching, Rangoli, Project, Model Making and on the Spot Photography.

The event commenced with ‘jyoti parjwalan’ followed by the warm welcome address by Dr. Meenakshi Duggal (Officiated Principal) who highlighted the importance of collaborative learning, healthy competition and holistic development in the education of young minds. She appreciated the participating teams for their enthusiasm and spirited presence.

Each segment witnessed intense participation and creative performances from the students. The judgement committee, comprising distinguished educators and experts in their specific fields, evaluated these performances on the criteria of creativity, teamwork, skill and presentation.

Prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners and outstanding participants in each category. The overall trophy was presented to Laurens International School, Batala that accumulated the highest points across all competitions, recognizing excellence in performance, sportsmanship and participation. Ved Kaur Arya Girls Sen. Sec. School, Qadian was awarded with ‘Best Disciplined School’ for its exceptional persistence and orderliness. At this juncture Sh. Rajesh Kawatra (Chairmen LAC) congratulated the organizing committee and the participants for their phenomenal enthusiasm and hard work which made this event a grand successes.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the organizing committee, expressing gratitude to all participants, school coordinators, volunteers, and guests for making Synergy 2025 a memorable and successful celebration of talent and unity.
