 ‘Essay Writing Competition’ organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala 

‘Essay Writing Competition’ was organized at RR Bawa DAV College for girls,  Batala under the aegis of  Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal and under the able guidance of Lucky Sharma (Head, Department of Languages). In this competition, the students from different departments participated enthusiastically on the topic ‘The Life of Sant Ravidas & his Teachings’. In Punjabi Language, Ms. Rajwant Kaur got first position and Ms. Komalpreet Kaur received the consolation prize. In English, Ms. Anmoldeep Kaur got first position and Ms. Kashish Khosla received the consolation Prize and in Hindi Language, Ms. Neetu got first position while Ms. Simarjeet Kaur received the consolation prize.  

On this occasion, Madam Principal congratulated the students for participating actively in this competition. She inspired to follow the teachings of the great sant who preached equality, human dignity and abolition of the caste system. All the faculty and staff members were also present on the occasion.
