RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala organized a special 'Havan Yajna' to commemorate Rishi Bodh Utsav on Mahashivratri
Under the stewardship of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Offg. Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Dr. Lucky Sharma (Dean Student Welfare), a 'Havan Yajna' was organized to commemorate ‘Rishi Bodh Utsav’ on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
At this Juncture, the Principal, staff and students offered prayers for the welfare of the country and the world by reciting Vedic mantras. While addressing the gathering on this occasion, Principal Dr. Meenakshi Duggal congratulated the students on the occasion of Mahashivratri. She also discussed the contributions of the great reformer, social leader and founder of the Arya Samaj Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati ji and motivated them to follow his teachings. All the faculty and staff members were also present on this occasion. The Havan Yajna concluded after the Shanti Path.
