The BSc. CND Sem. VIth Students of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala attended Internship at Fortis Hospital, Amritsar
Under the stewardship of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under guidance of Mrs. Sunaina Gupta, the students of BSc. (Clinical Nutrition and Dietician) Sem. VI underwent 21 days of job internship training in the department of Dietetics and Nutrition from 20th December, 2025 to 9th January, 2026 at Fortis Hospital, Amritsar.
During this training, Ms. Guljeet Kaur, the dietician provided them detailed information about the diet planning of patients suffering from different diseases. The students also gained in-depth training of modern medical nutrition therapy, clinical counselling and prepared related case studies.
Officiating Principal Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, appreciated this training initiative and emphasized that such learning opportunities and programmes provide necessary credentials for career opportunities in clinical, sports and corporate sectors.
