 The NCC Cadets of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala participated in NCC ‘Yuva Apda Mitar Camp’ at Amritsar

The NCC Cadets of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala participated in NCC Yuva Apda Mitar Camp at Amritsar, under the aegis of Officiating Principal, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal and under the able guidance of Mrs. Simranjit Kaur (NCC Caretaker). 13 NCC cadets of the college participated in this camp organized at Shaheed Baba Kunj Engineering College, Khasa, Amritsar from 20th January, 2026 to 29th January, 2026. During the camp, the cadets participated in various physical activities like Riffle Shooting, Weapon training, learnt CPR and rescue techniques, floods and fire safety, first aid during snake bite, accident, heart attack etc. They attended lecture on career counseling and  also participated in various physical and field training, endurance drills including evacuation techniques to combat any real life disasterous scenario. 

On this occasion, the Madam Principal encouraged the cadets to participate in such nation-building activities and emphasized on the equal participation of girl-cadets for their all-round development with a sense of commitment, dedication and discipline.
