A Calligraphy Competition was organized by PG Department of Punjabi at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala under the guidance of Dr. Lucky Sharma (Head of the Department) and Mrs. Navjot Kaur (Program Convener), to promote creativity, artistic expression and appreciation for beautiful handwriting among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various classes who showcased their talent in the art of calligraphy. In this competition Kumari Manjot Kaur (B.Sc. Med. Sem. II) got first position, Kumari Harleen Kaur (B.Sc. IT Sem. II) got second position while Kumari Parneet Kaur got third position. The competition aimed to encourage students to develop patience, concentration and artistic abilities through the traditional art of calligraphy.

The Officiating Principal Dr. Meenakshi Duggal appreciated the efforts of the participants and emphasized the importance of preserving traditional art forms like calligraphy in the digital era. She congratulated the winners and encouraged students to continue nurturing their creative talents.
