 To celebrate International Day of Mathematics, popularly known as Pi Day, the Aryabhatt Mathematical Society of PG Department of Mathematics of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala organized a movie screening on the life of the great Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan with the support of Student Representatives, Ms. Harmanpreet Kaur (President) and Ms. Jasmeen Kaur (Secretary) in RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala. The session was held to inspire students and highlight the remarkable contributions of Ramanujan in the field of mathematics. 

During the session, students watched the biographical film 'Ramanujan', which portrays the extraordinary journey of Ramanujan from the humble beginnings in India to becoming one of the most celebrated mathematicians in the world. The screening helped students understand the dedication, passion and perseverance of Ramanujan in the field of mathematics. 

A large number of students participated enthusiastically in the session. The event proved to be both educational and motivational, allowing students to appreciate the legacy of Srinivasa Ramanujan and his invaluable contributions to mathematics.
