To celebrate International Mother Language Day, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala organized a Poster Making Competition

 To celebrate International Mother Language Day, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala organized a Poster Making Competition under the guidance of Dr. Lucky Sharma (Head, PG Department of Punjabi) and Ms. Gurpreet Kaur (Program Convener), to promote awareness about the importance of preserving and respecting the mother language. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who creatively expressed their thoughts and emotions through colorful and meaningful posters highlighting the value of linguistic diversity. In this competition, Kumari Simranpreet Kaur (B.Sc. Med. Sem. IV) bagged first position, Kumari Jashanpreet Kaur (BCA Sem. II) bagged second position and Kumari Aarti Kaur (BA Sem. II) bagged third position respectively. 

The Officiating Principal, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal congratulated the participants and encouraged them to take pride in their mother language and culture. She emphasized that such activities help students understand the significance of linguistic diversity and strengthen their connection with their roots.
