RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala enthusiastically celebrated World Earth Day on the theme “Our Power, Our Planet”, under the aegis of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal and under the guidance of Dr. Ritu Goswami, a tree plantation drive organized in the college premises to emphasize the importance of sustainability and strengthening environmental accountability.
The objective of the drive is to sensitize the students how individual and collective actions can contribute to a healthier planet. Every small step—be it conserving water, reducing plastic usage, or planting trees—plays a significant role in safeguarding the environment and urgent need to protect natural resources and adopt eco-friendly practices to save earth.
