The Department of Cosmetology of the college successfully organized an informative and skill-oriented workshop on Nail Extension and Hairstyling for the students under the aegis of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal and under the guidance of Mrs. Simranjit Kaur (Head, PG Department of Cosmetology). The workshop aimed to enhance practical knowledge and provide hands-on experience in the latest beauty and grooming techniques.

Expert professionals demonstrated advanced methods of nail extension, including gel and acrylic techniques, along with creative nail art designs. The hairstyling session covered modern trends, styling tools usage and techniques for different hair types, enabling students to gain industry-relevant skills.

To further enrich their learning experience, the students were taken on a field visit to Ravishing Make-up Studio. During the visit, experts conducted a detailed session on Skin Care, highlighting essential routines and professional treatments. Special emphasis was given to new techniques of Hydra Facial, explaining its benefits for deep cleansing, hydration and skin rejuvenation.

The students were introduced to the latest haircuts and styling trends in the beauty industry. The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and observe live demonstrations, making the experience highly engaging and informative.

The workshop and field visit proved to be highly beneficial, providing students with practical exposure and boosting their confidence to pursue careers in the beauty and wellness sector. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of the organizers and industry experts for their valuable guidance.
