One-Week 'KRITI-2026 Canvas and Needle' Hobby Class Concluded at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala
A highly successful one-week hobby class titled "KRITI-2026 Canvas and Needle" successfully concluded at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala. The workshop was organized by Faculty of Skill Oriented Courses to foster creative skills, artistic expression and entrepreneurial mind-sets among young women, under the guidance of Mrs. Simranjit Kaur and Mrs. Harpreet Aneja.
Over the course of the week, students received hands-on training in various traditional and contemporary arts, intricate needlework and embroidery. The participants displayed immense enthusiasm, transforming simple materials into beautiful pieces of art. Such hobby classes are essential for the holistic development of students, providing them with valuable life skills that can also open doors to future entrepreneurial ventures.
The Officiating Principal commended the dedication of both the organizers and the students. The workshop concluded with a vibrant exhibition showcasing the creative masterpieces crafted by the students during the week. Mrs. Deepti Kanda and Ms. Komalpreet also joined the concluding event.
