Havan Yajna' and 'Deeksha Arambh Programme' organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

 

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Dr. Lucky Sharma (Overall Incharge) Havan Yajna was performed at the auspicious occasion of beginning of the new session 2022-23 amidst the Vedic Mantra-Ucharan. On this occasion, Madam Principal addressed and blessed the student fraternity on behalf of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi and the Local Advisory Committee. In her address to the students she emphasized on adhering to the goal of education by integrating Indian Educational Values along with the new technology.

After Havan Yajna 'Deeksha Arambh' program was organized in College Auditorium which was initiated with 'Jyoti Prajvalan' by all the deans and faculty members. At the start of Deeksha Arambh, program Dr. Lucky Sharma (Dean Student Welfare) enlightened the new entrants about the overall rules and regulations along with imparting initial information about different councils pertaining to the different departments. All the Deans and Incharges Mrs. Gurinder Kaur, Mrs. Baljit Kaur, Mrs. Simmi Sharma, Mrs. Ekta Bhandari, Dr. Indra Rani, Dr. Ritu Goswami, Mrs. Simranjit Kaur and Mr. Vinay Kumar informed the students regarding various courses, scholarship schemes, disciplinary issues, best practices, new projects and different initiatives which are a must know how for the new students. The incumbents were jubilant and excited on the first day of their campus life. The program ended with the National Anthem.
