 'Social Service Club' and 'Mathematics Department' of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala visited Slum areas on the occasion of Diwali

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of Mrs. Simmi Sharma (Head Mathematics Department) visited the slum areas keeping in view the Diwali festivities. The main objective of this initiative was to bridge the social gap between children living in poverty and in abundance while sharing the happiness of Diwali by distributed eatables to all. Mrs. Simmi Sharma shared the information about the history of Diwali with these kids. On this occasion, these children performed songs, dances and other fun activities. During this visit Mrs. Gurinder Kaur, Ms. Amandeep Kaur, Ms. Kajal and Mrs. Bhawna Kashyap were present with some students.
