Under the aegis of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala and under the able guidance of Mrs. Ekta Bhandari (School Incharge and Program Coordinator), 'Skill Demonstration Week-Entropy' was organized in the school campus. Handwriting and Calligraphy competition was conducted on the first day of 'Skill Demonstration Week'. Ms. Ranjit Kaur and Ms. Gurpreet Kaur were the Incharges of this event.
The students from SSC-I and SSC-II participated enthusiastically in this competition. The competition was conducted for both English and Punjabi languages. The students exhibited great calligraphy skills in English and Punjabi. Amreet Kaur (+1 Medical) bagged first prize, Manjot Kaur (+2 Commerce) bagged second prize and Arshadeep (+2 Medical) bagged third prize in Punjabi Handwriting competition. Akshpreet (+2 Arts) bagged first prize, Anjali (+2 Arts) bagged second prize and Manjot Kaur (+2 Commerce) bagged third prize in English handwriting competition. The judgement was done by Mrs. Deepti Kanda.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated the prize winners and encouraged the students to participate in such competitions along with studies for their holistic development. She extended her felicitations to the collegiate staff for the successful conduct of the event.
