 'Inaugural Ceremony of Seven Day NSS Special Camp' organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of Mr. Vinay Kumar (Program Convenor), Mr. Pankaj Kumar (NSS Coordinator) and Mrs. Naiya Mahajan (NSS Co-Coordinator), the inaugural ceremony of seven-day special NSS camp organized at the college campus. The inaugural ceremony initiated with pious Hawan Yajna at the college campus. After hawan ceremony, Dr. Ekta Khosla addressed the NSS volunteers and guided them towards the selfless service of the humanity, as these activities allow students to become confident, develop leadership skills and help them to learn about different people from different walks of life. After the inaugural ceremony the NSS volunteers organized a camp at Village Babbari Nangal. On this occasion, Mrs. Paramjit Kaur, Sarpanch of village Babbari Nangal welcomed the NSS volunteers and thanked them for organizing this awareness drive at their village and hoped that the camp would prove beneficial for her village. At this juncture, an awareness rally was taken out by the volunteers in the village and a survey of the entire village was also conducted. Panchayat members of the village including Ms. Amardeep Kaur were also present on this occasion.
