 'Stop Plastic Bag Campaign' organized on the second day of the seven-day NSS camp by the volunteers of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

Under the aegis of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Mr. Vinay Kumar (Program Convener), Mr. Pankaj Kumar (NSS Coordinator) and Mrs. Naiya Mahajan (NSS Co-Coordinator), a 'Paper bag training' event was organized on the second day of ongoing seven-day special NSS camp by the volunteers to the villagers of Babbari Nangal. The volunteers also taught them to make bags and other articles from the waste clothes to make the environment clean by avoiding the use of plastic. A tree plantation drive was also conducted on this occasion and Mrs. Paramjit Kaur, Sarpanch of the village was also honoured by Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla. Mrs. Harpreet Aneja, Ms. Suman Manikpuri and Ms. Amardeep Kaur were also present on this occasion.
