 550 Trees Planted in RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

550 Tree saplings planted and ‘Shri Guru Nanak Forest’ was established at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala. This mega plantation drive was organized in collaboration with ‘Gurdwara Shri Khadoor Sahib and Hariyawal Punjab’ for environment protection and purification .

Expressing her views on this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla appreciated the efforts being made by Baba Davinder Singh ji from Gurdwara Shri Khadoor Sahib, Mr. Sandeep Salhotra, Convener of ‘Hariyawal Punjab’ Mr. Naresh Mahajan, Mr. Deepak Verma and their whole team working for environment protection. She also added that these types of mega plantation drives are mandatory for the reversal of the climate change. With this motive the college has declared plantation of 1000 plants in 2024. At this juncture the faculty members of the Institution were also present along with Mr. Surinder Baga, Mrs. Jyoti Surabhi, Mrs. Money Sharma, Sadar Baljit Singh, Mrs. Sunita Mehta and Mr. Kamaldeep Lucky.
