Mrs. Simranjit Kaur (Head, Department of Cosmetology) and Mrs. Harpreet Aneja (Head, Department of Fashion Designing) of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala were duly honoured with Nation Builder Award 2024 on the occasion of Teacher Day by Rotary Club, Batala S. Manminder Singh, President S. Jagpreet Singh Sandhu, Hon. Secretary Rotary Club Batala honoured the faculty members. Chairman LAC Sh. Rajesh Kawatra and Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated both of them for their spirit of duty and phenomenal services. 

At this juncture, the students also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on 5th September which is dedicated to Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan, a well-known scholar, diplomat and second president of India. To mark the occasion, the students beautifully decorated the college premises and performed a 'Tilak Ceremony' for all the teachers along with a scintillating cultural presentation incorporating poems, songs and dances to denote their love, respect and acknowledgement of the efforts put in by their teachers. Expressing her views on this special occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla extended her heartfelt gratitude for every teacher for showing immense patience and understanding towards their students and ensuring best education for them.
