 'Swachhta Pakhwada’ organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala 

Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Dr. Lucky Sharma (Incharge NSS), Mr. Pankaj Kumar (NSS Coordinator) and Mrs. Naiya Mahajan (NSS Co-Coordinator), 'Swachhta Pakhwada was organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala. 

On this occasion, NSS Volunteers along with concerned faculty members took an oath to keep the surroundings clean. The volunteers also cleaned Dera Baba Nanak war memorial to make people of the city aware about cleanliness. About 150 NSS volunteers participated in a rally on this occasion to sensitize the masses about the Importance of maintaining a clean and green environment. Expressing her views on this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla emphasized on the importance of sanitation and cleanliness to achieve the mission of 'Garbage free India'. On this occasion, Dr. Poonam Rani, Kumari Anchal, Kumari Rajni, Kumari Suman Manakpuri and Mr. Bachan Lal were also present.
