RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala celebrated 'Diwali Festival' with the underprivileged Children
Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the guidance of Mrs. Simmi Sharma (Incharge, Social Service Club) 'Diwali festival' was celebrated with underprivileged children of Batala city. The members of Social Service club visited Sewa Bharti School, Batala and distributed track suits, books, colours, stationery, food and drinks to the underprivileged children and made them aware of their social responsibilities.
While sharing her views, Principal, Dr. Ekta Khosla said that these social responsibilities provide opportunities to the students to serve the society and train them to solve the challenges in the society while making them responsible citizens of the country. Ms. Rajwant Kaur, Ms. Kiran, Ms. Nandini, and Mrs. Mamta were also present.
