 ‘Skill Entrepreneurship Week’  organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

Under the supervision of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Mrs. Harpreet Aneja (Head, PG Department of Fashion Designing), Skill Entrepreneurship Week was organized with an aim to nurture creativity and entrepreneurial abilities among budding designers.

Throughout this Skill-Entrepreneurship Week the students of Fashion Designing Department enthusiastically participated in a series of creative and skill-enhancing activities. They learnt various knotting techniques, attended a seminar on personality development and took part in sessions like ‘Pitch Your Idea’, Resin Art Workshop, Flower Making and Macramé Art etc. The Head of Department Harpreet Aneja along with faculty members Mrs. Naiya Mahajan, Ms. Amreen Kaur, Ms. Komal, Ms. Neha, Ms. Baljinder, Ms. Sonia  and Ms. Kamalpreet encouraged the students to explore these motivational ideas as a means of design innovation and self-employment.

On this juncture, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla appreciated the sincere efforts of the department for organizing this event and motivated the students to channelize their creativity into entrepreneurial ventures.
