 Hands on Training of Catering and Serving at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala  

Under the stewardship of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and with the support of Mrs. Sunaina Gupta, a hands-on-training session of Catering and Serving held at Wonder Hotel. The students of B.Sc. (Clinical Nutrition and Dietician) along with the students of Home Science Department visited hotel ‘Wonder’ in Batala for experiential and hands on industrial training. Director of the hotel, S. Barinder Pal Singh and S. Damandeep Singh and Manager, Sh. Rakesh Kumar greeted the students with delicious welcome drinks and provided them detailed information about paper-folding, table-setting techniques and other culinary services. The students visited different outlets i.e. rooms, reception area, kitchen, store-rooms and learnt decoration ideas related to different events organised in the hotel with the support of Rahil and Ramu Magha. Principal, Dr. Ekta Khosla, appreciated this informative visit and emphasized that such learning opportunities and visits must be organised for the welfare of students.
