RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala organized a Seminar dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji
Under the patronage of Dr. Ekta Khosla, Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls Batala, a seminar dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, was organized in the college campus. The aim of this seminar was to sensitize the students about the personality and sacrifices of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, popularly known as the Shield of India.
On this occasion, Dr. Lucky Sharma said that Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, the Ninth Sikh Guru, to known for his bravery, wisdom and martyrdom. He sacrificed his life for kashmiri pandits and stood against oppression.
While sharing her views on this occasion, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla shed light on teachings of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur ji on religious freedom, kindness, justice and courage. She also emphasized on adopting the teachings of Guru ji in our lives. On this occasion, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal (Dean Academics), Ms. Neetu Seth, Dr. Navneet Kaur, Ms. Kulwinder Kaur, Ms. Navjot Kaur, Ms. Rupali Aggarwal, Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, Ms. Mandeep and Ms. Upinder were also present.
