 International Women's Day on the theme 'Flower on Fabric' organized at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

Under the stewardship of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Mrs. Deepti Kanda (Program Coordinator), International Women’s Day on the theme 'Flower on Fabric' was organized in the college campus. Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event aimed to celebrate the creativity, talent and empowerment of women through art and design.

In this competition, the students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and showcased their artistic skills by creating beautiful floral designs on fabric using various techniques and vibrant colours. The activity provided a platform for students to express their creativity while promoting the spirit of women empowerment and appreciation. The participants were awarded with prizes and certificates. Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal encouraged the students to explore entrepreneurship through creative arts and crafts and she motivated the students to convert their talent into entrepreneurial ventures and contribute to self-reliance. On this occasion, Mrs. Simmi Sharma, Ms. Udesh Kumari, Dr. Hardeep Kaur, Mrs. Simranjit Kaur, Dr. Poonam Rani, Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, Mrs. Kulwinder Kaur, Mrs. Rupali Aggarwal and Mrs. Navneet Kaur were also present.
