 Cultural Event - ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ organised to bid farewell to outgoing Classes at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala.

Under the patronage of Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala and under the able guidance of Dr. Lucky Sharma (Program Coordinator), Ms. Udesh Kumari (Program Convener) and Mrs. Harpreet Aneja (Program Co-convener) Cultural Event ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ was organised in the college premises. It was a delightful afternoon filled with creative ideas, jazzy music, enlightening décor and special performances of staff and students.

In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the auditorium hall of the campus, the programme initiated with ‘Jyoti Prajwalan’ ceremony and the students and staff of the college bid adieu to the final year students in a grand and mesmerizing farewell function. It was not only an occasion to bid adieu to their friends but also a commemoration to celebrate all the good times together and wishing the best for the future to come. After various arduous modelling rounds and Q & A sessions, Ms. Anmol was chosen ‘Miss RR Bawa’, Ms. Ankita 'First Runner-up', Ms. Kirat 'Second Runner-up', Ms. Yukti 'Miss Confident', Ms. Priyanshu Chauhan ‘Miss Charming', Ms. Vishali Rana ‘Miss Catwalk’ and Ms. Vaidika ‘Best Attire’, from the outgoing UG and PG classes. Mrs. Deepti Kanda, Dr. Hardeep Kaur and Mrs. Simranjit Kaur acted as judges during this programme. 

The farewell ceremony for UG and PG students was marked by heartfelt wishes from Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal, who appreciated the students for their dedication, achievements and contribution to the institution, while encouraging them to pursue excellence in their future endeavours. The programme concluded with ‘Jyoti Exchange Ceremony’ from senior to junior students.
