RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala, organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony for esteemed Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla, under the aegis of Sh. Rajesh Kawatra, Chairman LAC along with his wife Smt. Anu Kawatra and Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Officiating Principal. The event was organized in the college premises in the esteemed presence of Local Advisory Committee members, faculty and staff of HMV, Jalandhar and special guests including Smt. Radha Rani (Mother), Mr. Naveen Khosla (Husband), Mrs. Ritika Sabharwal (Sister-in-law), Mr. Sidhant Sabharwal (Nephew), Mr. Raju Khosla (Brother-in-law), Mrs. Jyoti Khosla (Sister-in-law), Mrs. Neenu Julka (Sister-in-law), Mr. Sujeet Julka (Brother-in-law) and Dr. Kanwaldeep (Former, HoD Commerce, HMV, Jalandhar). The teaching fraternity of HMV, Jalandhar i.e. Dr. Navroop (Dean Youth Welfare), Dr. Seema Marwaha (Dean Academic), Dr. Anjana Bhatia (IQAC Coordinator),  Dr. Urvashi Mishra (Dean Student Council), Dr. Gagandeep (Dean Examination), Dr. Mamta (Dean Vedic Studies), Dr. Shallu Batra (Dean Outreach), Dr. Sangeeta Arora (Dean Curriculum), Dr. Ramnita (Dean MOU), Dr. Meenu Talwar (Dean Residents Scholars), Mr. Jagjit Bhatia (Dean Placement Cell), Ms. Deepshikha (Dean Environment), Ms. Meenu Kohli (Faculty Incharge), Dr. Ashmeen Kaur (Faculty Incharge), Ms. Kuljit Kaur (Staff Secretary, Dean Holistic Cell), Dr. Saloni Sharma (Joint Staff Secretary), Dr. Jitender Kumar, Dr. Shallender Kumar, Mr. Sushil Kumar, Mr. Ravi Maini (Office Superintendent), and Mr. Pankaj Jyoti also graced the occasion as the special guests. The faculty and staff of RR Bawa family extended a warm welcome to all the esteemed guests for sparing their valuable time on this special occasion. 

The program began with a floral welcome followed by soulful songs and touching speeches expressing admiration and affection for Madam Principal. Sh. Rajesh Kawatra (Chairman LAC), Mrs. Anu Kawatra along with LAC members i.e. Mrs. Meena Chandey, Mr. Hitesh, S. H.S. Bajwa (Rotary Club), Sh. K.L. Gupta (Dainik Prathna Sabha), faculty and staff members shared fond memories, recalling her inspiring guidance, commitment to education and nurturing leadership that transformed the institution in countless ways including the achievement of A+ grade by NAAC in the third cycle.

In her farewell address, Dr. Ekta Khosla expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management, faculty, staff and students for their unwavering support throughout her tenure. She encouraged everyone to continue striving for excellence and uphold the legacy of value based education. She further wished the institution to set new parameters in providing holistic environment for students' all round growth and nourishment. 

On this occasion, LAC members along with their family members, faculty members of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar and other eminent personalities of the vicinity also expressed their well-wishes for her future endeavours and great success in her journey as the Principal of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar.
