The NCC Cadets of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala participated in NCC CATC Camp at Amritsar, under the aegis of Officiating Principal, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal and under the able guidance of Col K.K. Jadeja (Commanding Officer, 9th PB, BN, NCC, Amritsar) and Mrs. Simranjit Kaur (NCC Caretaker). 21 NCC cadets of the college participated in this camp organized at ITI College, Ram Tirath Road, Amritsar from 29th October, 2025 to 7th November, 2025. During the camp, the cadets participated in various cultural and physical activities like Table Drill, Cultural Dance, Guard of Honour, Riffle Shooting, Weapon training, Map reading, Tent Making and Grooming of the cadets to enhance their overall personality. In Guard of Honour, Kumari Arashpreet Kaur, Ribika, Lakshmi Devi, Palakjot Kaur, Manmeenjot Kaur bagged overall first position and got Gold Medals. In Table Drill, Kumari Arshdeep Kaur and Simranjit Kaur bagged overall first position along with gold medal. In Culture Dance, the cadets Kumari Kiran Sharma and Ribika bagged silver medals. In Guard of Honour (Tray Holding) Kumari Prince Kaur bagged Silver medal while Kumari Palakjot Kaur bagged silver medal in Riffle Shooting. Kumari Arshpreet Kaur also bagged gold medal in all over second senior. The cadets also visited BSF Campus and watched inspirational movies related to the armed forces.

On this occasion, the Madam Principal encouraged the cadets to participate in such nation-building activities and emphasized on the equal participation of girl-cadets for their all-round development with a sense of commitment, dedication and discipline.
